These terms and conditions (the "Terms of Use") apply to www.FirearmsGuide.com Online Service and Firearms Guide Software (on DVDs, Flash Drives, Activation Cards) (collectively, the "Online Service and Software”) owned, developed and operated by Impressum Media Inc. By subscribing for or otherwise using our Online Service and Software (as defined below) or accessing any content or material that we make available through the Online Service and Software, you agree to these Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use form a legally binding agreement between you and Impressum Media Inc. (collectively, this "Agreement"). We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change these Terms of Use in the future.
If you do not agree to this Agreement, you may not access, use, browse, license, subscribe to, or otherwise use the Online Service and Software.
You may use the Online Service and Software only if you have reached the age of majority or the legal age in your jurisdiction (generally 18 or older) and can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. By accepting these rules you confirm that you checked the models/content that we present online at www.FirearmsGuide.com before subscribing and that you are satisfied with the content. Claiming that we do NOT have some material is not accepted as a reason for a refund with PayPal. Please check what we have BEFORE you subscribe and subscribe only if you found what you need. By accepting these rules you confirm that you are OK with Firearms Guide content. In the Schematics Library of www.FirearmsGuide.com (only with digital subscription) we present schematics, manuals, and blueprints that have our watermarks over them as a form of protection of digital material available online by Firearms Guide Online Service. Schematics, manuals, and blueprints on Firearms Guide Flash Drive Edition for Windows do NOT have watermarks over them. Please be aware of that fact and subscribe only if you are OK with that. This cannot be used as a reason for a refund with PayPal. By accepting these rules you confirm that you are OK with that fact before subscribing.
b. Transparency of Firearms Guide user interface: In the Video Tutorials section of www.FirearmsGuide.com we present video tutorials of the Firearms Guide Online Edition and Flash Drive and DVD Edition software that shows how the product works (user interface) in real-time on a user’s computer. Gun Values are available only online because we correct them often and not in the DVD or Flash Drive Edition. By accepting these rules you confirm that you saw those video tutorials before subscribing, that you are OK with Firearms Guide content, and that you are satisfied with the user interface. c. Transparency of Firearms Guide cancelation/refund policy: Please check our transparent Cancelation/Refund policy for Firearms Guide digital subscriptions below. It is very short and transparent and by subscribing for Firearms Guide digital subscription you confirm that you have read it BEFORE subscribing and that you are fully accepting it. In short, Firearms Guide Online Service is an intangible online service it is considered CONSUMED from the moment you subscribe and there is a strict no refund policy.
4. Subscription, Billing, Refunds, and Cancellation
a. Subscription
i. Types of Subscription. Your Firearms Guide annual digital subscription is a one-time purchase and at the end of the first year, you can renew your subscription with a discount for loyal subscribers. There is NO auto-renewal of your annual subscription so you WON'T be charged automatically again next year. Your Firearms Guide monthly recurring subscription will continue month-to-month unless and until you cancel your subscription (by canceling your PayPal automatic payments in your PayPal account) or we terminate it. Automatic renewal of your monthly recurring subscription is turned ON by default and you can turn it OFF in your payment method (PayPal or 2Checkout) anytime by canceling your PayPal or 2Checkout automatic payments to Impressum Media Inc. You must have Internet access and provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (as such may be updated from time to time, "Payment Method") to use the Firearms Guide Online Service. We will bill the monthly subscription fee to your Payment Method. To avoid billing of the next month's recurring subscription fees please cancel automatic payments in your PayPal account. Canceling unwanted monthly recurring subscriptions is YOUR responsibility! Refunds for the current billing cycle will not be given and you will continue to have digital access during that period.
ii. Differing Subscription. We may offer several subscription plans, including special promotional plans or subscriptions with differing conditions and limitations. Any materially different terms from those described in these Terms of Use will be disclosed at your sign-up or in other communications made available to you. You can find specific details regarding your subscriptions with Firearms Guide by visiting our website and clicking on the "Subscription" link. Some promotional subscriptions are offered by third parties in conjunction with the provision of their products and services. We are not responsible for the products and services provided by such third parties. We reserve the right to modify, terminate or otherwise amend our offered subscription plans.
b. Billing
i. Recurring Billing. By starting your Firearms Guide monthly recurring subscription and providing or designating a Payment Method, you authorize us to charge you a monthly subscription fee at the then-current rate.
ii. Price Changes. We reserve the right to adjust the pricing of subscription for our Online Service or any components thereof in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion.
iii. Billing Cycle. The subscription fee for 1 year or 2 years of access to the Firearms Guide Online Service is a one-time purchase so there is only one charge at the time of the purchase. At the end of the first year, you can renew your subscription with a discount for loyal subscribers. The subscription fee for monthly recurring access to the Firearms Guide Online Service will be billed at the beginning of the paying portion of your subscription and each month thereafter unless and until you cancel your subscription. We automatically bill your Payment Method each month on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your paying subscription. Subscription fees are fully earned upon payment. We reserve the right to change the timing of our billing, in particular, as indicated below if your Payment Method has not been successfully settled. In the event your’s paying subscription began on a day not contained in a given month, we may bill your Payment Method on a day in the applicable month or such other day as we deem appropriate. For example, if you started your Firearms Guide subscription or became a paying subscriber on January 31st, your next payment date is likely to be February 28th, and your Payment Method would be billed on that date. Your renewal date may change due to changes in your subscription. As used in these Terms of Use, "billing" shall indicate a charge, debit, or other payment clearance, as applicable, against your Payment Method.
c. Refunds
i. Impressum Media Inc provides NO REFUNDS for monthly or yearly Firearms Guide Online Service (subscriptions to our service) or Firearms Guide software. PLEASE CONSIDER THAT BEFORE YOU SUBSCRIBE. PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. You will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. Following any cancellation, however, you will continue to have access to the Online Service through the end of your current billing period. Digital subscription for the Firearms Guide Online Service is nonrefundable, just like many other subscriptions – for example your cell phone subscription or online music streaming service subscriptions.
Firearms Guide Online Service is an intangible digital online service and it is considered CONSUMED from the moment you subscribe for it (you fill out the subscription form, created your username and password, accepted our Terms of use, and finished the payment process). Since our service is an intangible Online Service there is a strict no refund policy.
ii. Reasons stated below (and other reasons like that) are not reasons for a refund:
You've changed your mind
You've decided our product is "Not what I need"
You subscribed yourself and went through the entire payment process…by accident
You've decided to stop using Firearms Guide for any reason
You didn’t find guns that you have presented on Firearms Guide (please check that BEFORE subscribing)
You think our product is “Not as described” (please check our product before subscribing and watch Tutorial videos available on the bottom of the left-hand corner of the main page of FirearmsGuide.com to see how Firearms Guide Flash Drive Edition and Online Edition looks and works. Those Tutorial videos show real-time use on the user’s computer).
Your computer died or you have some problem with it
You bought it for a friend and you just realized that he/she don’t own a computer
You have Mac and Firearms Guide Flash Drive is for Windows only
You don’t have internet where you live
You forgot to stop your monthly recurring subscription (if you decide to cancel it, please do that in your PayPal account by stopping automatic payment for Firearms Guide)
Your cat spilled milk on your laptop and now your computer doesn’t work anymore
d. Cancellation.
Cancellation of Firearms Guide monthly service is your responsibility. You may cancel your Firearms Guide monthly recurring subscription at any time by canceling automatic payments for Impressum Media Inc in your PayPal account (please cancel automatic payments in your PayPal account towards Firearms Guide/Impressum Media Inc), and you will continue to have access to the Firearms Guide Online Service through the end of your monthly billing period. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL-YEAR OR PARTIAL-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION PERIODS. If you paid for your subscription by PAYPAL - to change or cancel your monthly recurring subscription with Firearms Guide (Impressum Media Inc.), log in to your PayPal account, go to your Profile, and click My money or Payment settings. Update your agreement in the "My preapproved payments" section - cancel automatic payments for Firearms Guide/Impressum Media Inc. You can cancel your subscription anytime you want and it is your responsibility, not ours, to do that when you decide.
vii. If you cancel your subscription, your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period. To let you know when your account will close, please check the "Subscription" page.
5. Firearms Guide Software on the Flash Drive – Terms of use
a. Firearms Guide software on the Flash Drive works only on the newest, most current Microsoft Windows operating system. Please see specific instructions on the operating system on the packaging of each Firearms Guide software edition on the Flash Drive. Please check if you have installed on your computer the newest, most current operating system before subscribing. Info on newest operating system find at www.microsoft.com
b. We provide 90 days warranty on Flash Drives. If your Flash Drive does not work in 90 days upon receiving please return it to us for a free replacement. Firearm Guide Flash Drive Edition is not protected from erasing or writing on Flash Drive so please take care not to delete, format, or overwrite Flash Drive with data on it. We are not responsible if such activities occur. We are not responsible if your Flash Drive doesn’t work as a result of the physical damage that happened after you received Flash Drive.
c. Copyright. The Firearms Guide Software, including all content provided through the Firearms Guide Software, is protected by copyright, trade secret, or other intellectual property laws and treaties. d. Backup Copy. You may make one copy of the Licensed Firearms Guide Software for the sole purpose of backing up and archiving the Licensed Firearms Guide Software. Any such copy of the Licensed Software is subject to all terms and conditions of these Terms and must contain the same titles, trademarks, and copyrights as the original.
6. Firearms Guide Online Service
a. The Firearms Guide Online Service, and any content consumed through our Online Service, are for your personal and non-commercial use only. During your Firearms Guide subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access the Firearms Guide Online Service and research information on firearms, air guns, and ammunition through the Online Service on a streaming-only basis for that purpose. Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use the Online Service for public and/or commercial use.
b. THE NUMBER OF DEVICES ON WHICH YOU MAY SIMULTANEOUSLY USE FIREARMS GUIDE ONLINE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO ONE (1). SIMULTANEOUS USE ON MULTIPLE DEVICES UNDER ONE USERNAME IS PROHIBITED.
c. You agree to use the Firearms Guide Online Service, including all features and functionalities associated therewith, following all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, or other restrictions on the use of the site or content therein. You agree not to archive, download, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, offer for sale, or use (except as explicitly authorized in these Terms of Use) content and information contained on or obtained from or through the Firearms Guide site without express written permission from Firearms Guide. 7. Passwords & Account Access
a. The subscriber who created the Firearms Guide account and whose Payment Method is charged is referred to here as the Account Owner. The Account Owner has access and control over the Firearms Guide account. The Account Owner's control is exercised through the use of the Account Owner's password and therefore to maintain exclusive control, the Account Owner should not reveal the password to anyone. In addition, if the Account Owner wishes to prohibit others from contacting Firearms Guide Customer Service and potentially altering the Account Owner's control, the Account Owner should not reveal the Payment Method details (e.g., last four digits of their credit or debit card, or their email address if they use PayPal) associated with their account. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the truth and accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account. Sharing your username and password is prohibited and may result in termination or restricted use of Firearms Guide Online Service, without compensation or notice.

d. FIREARMS GUIDE DOES NOT EXPLAIN, ADVICE, OR INSTRUCT IN ANY WAY HOW TO HANDLE, USE, FIX OR STORE YOUR FIREARMS, AIRGUNS, OR AMMUNITION. The purchase and redemption of gift cards are subject to the gift terms. 11. Survival. If any provision or provisions of these Terms of Use shall be held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
