Los Angeles, CA, Chris, Editor - (FirearmsGuide.com) – The Pnuma Pathfinder Pants are great outdoor pants that look great in the city as well.

Recently I got myself a pair of Pnuma Pathfinder Pants. I like khaki pants but I haven’t had a pair in 5-6 years so I decided to get some. Pnuma Pathfinder Pants looked to me like great outdoor pants that would look equally great in my everyday life, working in the office, doing chores, and even sipping coffee in my local Starbucks. And I was not wrong. Disclaimer: The Pathfinder pants in the pictures are a little bit wrinkled after 4 weeks of wearing them almost every day. Please consider that.

I admit that I am not a fashionista in any way and that I don’t know much about fashion or clothing in general. So this test is just my brief description of my experience wearing Pathfinder Pants for 4 weeks in every situation of my life.

1. Material: Durable nylon 4-way stretch. Maybe that material is not for everyone but I have several outdoor/hiking/sailing pants that are made from nylon and I like them. I prefer nylon/polyester to cotton when it comes to outdoor clothing. I like the Pathfinder nylon material and color. This nylon material is fast-wicking and fast drying. It is also light, but not too light. It just has a perfect thickness and toughness while still being very comfortable. It is also a very quiet material. On very warm or hot days they run hot but on a colder, windy day they are perfect. They offer a lot of protection from elements and shrubbery. To me, they look pretty much indestructible.

2. Manufacturing quality & design: The Pathfinder Pants are made very well in every detail. The stitching is flawless. Design is simply great. The color is great. It has YKK stitch-sealed and tape-sealed heavy-duty zippers. Attention to detail is great. For example, the front button is not directly sewn into the pants but it is on a small flexible strip of fabric which makes buttoning up very easy and flexible with an empty or full stomach. On the very end of the right-hand pocket, there is an extra layer of protective fabric that protect the Pathfinder pants from the pocket clip of your pocket knife.

The pockets are also a little bit wider so when you carry the pocket knife and you have to take out your car keys from your pocket, your hand will have enough room to slide in and out easily. Maybe it is a stretchy fabric, I don’t know, but it is very comfortable. In my jeans, I always scratch my hand when doing that. The Pathfinder Pants are also nicely designed. My pair is in size 34/34 and I like that slim-fit look.

Best front button system on any pants

My impressions after 4 weeks of wearing the Pathfinder Pants are: The Pathfinder are great pants. They look great and that is important to me. They look cool in everyday city life and in nature. Around town, you look like a gentleman and outdoors you look like a well dressed hiker or hunter. The material is great and very quiet. They are surprisingly comfortable and stretchy enough in every situation. When you get out of the car, when you bend, when you climb a ladder you have unobstructed freedom of movement. Even when you put something in your pocket, it goes in easy or out easy. Taking a handful of change out of your front pocket is easy and without a problem. In 4 weeks I have zero complaints. The only thing that I would like to see is more colors. I would like a pair in some tone of blue or gray.
