Springfield, MA -(FirearmsGuide.com)- Officer Chris Christensen is an active duty police officer from East Carondelet, IL. When news broke about the terrorist attacks on 9/11 he packed up his squad car, his rescue K9, Servus, and traveled to Manhattan.

While Officer Christensen and Servus were searching for survivors in the rubble of the south tower, Servus fell through an opening that was 10-15 feet below. Resting on a ledge with Servus now not breathing, Officer Christensen saw a heavy beam of the settling building headed straight towards them, and speaking to god directly, he looks back now and says it best, “that angel saved my life and my dog's life that day”.
